Paul is an experienced Managing Director and Independent Financial Adviser with a history of management in the financial services industry for nearly 40 years. He is a professional with distinguished qualifications in Independent Financial Advice from the Scottish Qualifications Authority and Chartered Insurance Institute. Paul excels at assisting clients in the fields of Pensions, Investments, Trusts, Taxation and Estate Planning advice along with assisting clients in the creation/expansion of Property Portfolios.

Paul’s past history includes strategic and operational lead for 700+ Police Officers within the Special Constabulary as an Assistant Chief Officer for Merseyside Police, showing skills in crisis management, coaching and organisational leadership.

Paul also played a pivotal role in launching the children’s charity Life for a Kid Foundation which was set up to promote physical and mental health and relieve sickness amongst children, young people, their families and carers.

Hannah Hudson

Hannah is an experienced and driven Independent Financial Adviser with over 20 years’ experience, providing clients with retirement planning, investment advice, mortgage advice and overall support.

Hannah has numerous qualifications including DipFA and CeMap. She is also a Member of the London Institute of Banking & Finance and is passionate about learning new skills. Hannah regularly attends new courses to ensure her knowledge of the financial sector remains at the highest standard.

While Hannah is fascinated by the financial services in general, her passion within the sector is regulation. Hannah ensures Oakley Independent remains ahead of the curve in new up and coming legislation, so our clients never miss out on an opportunity.

Laura L Buoey

About Laura L

Client Relationship Manager

Laura is our Senior Independent Financial Advisor and has been a team member at Oakley Independent for over seven years.

Laura has been part of the financial world for two decades, after qualifying with a 2:1 honours degree from the University of Liverpool specialising in Accounting.

Laura is part qualified in CIMA and has gained valuable experience in the accounting department with a national supplier.

More recently she has gained a DipFA, CeMap and is a Member of the London Institute of Banking & Finance allowing her to advise on pensions, investments, insurance, mortgages and estate planning.

Laura is passionate about helping people achieve their life goals and not allowing financial matters to get in the way, as well as ensuring people are fully protected for times when they require extra support.

She says: “I like to provide a service that make my clients feel special, providing them with the support and knowledge they need to make the right decisions for them.”

Rachael Lynch

About Rachael

Qualifications : BA(Hons), Dip FA, CeMAP, MLIBF, IFA

Rachael Lynch is a Independent Financial Adviser and been a team member at Oakley Independent for two years.

Rachael moved into the financial services industry after spending more than 20 years working in the media.

Since joining us, she has gained her Diploma for Financial Advisers (DipFA), and her CIMA mortgage qualifications and has become a Member of the London Institute of Banking & Finance.

She is particularly interested in ensuring the financial advice is made as accessible as possible for all.

She says: “Many people believe that financial advice is just for the extremely wealthy. I want to help people understand the benefits of seeking specialist financial help, regardless of their circumstances.”

Diane Hudson

About Diane

Field Administrator

Diane is our team and client relations administrator and has been a team member for 10 years.

Diane has past experience within stock broking organisations and has performed numerous roles including Assistant to the Investment Manager of a stock broking firm and Client Maintenance Valuation while also conducting new team member training.

Diane also has a wealth of experience in Client and Team Relations.

Jessica HR Hudson

About Jessica HR

Jessica is a Client Relationship Manager at Oakley Independent Limited.

Prior to joining the team, she spent almost 15 years employed within Children’s Services at Liverpool City Council where she carried out leadership roles with finance and recruitment responsibilities.

Jessica has a wide range of qualifications including Level 2 and 3 NVQs and a Higher Professional Diploma in Management.

She enjoys working with clients to help them achieve their monetary goals.

She says: “As a mum-of-four, I have first-hand experience of the many situations in which parents can find themselves and a deep understanding of their financial needs. I enjoy meeting new clients and guiding people, no matter what their personal circumstances, towards long-term financial security.”
